Dr. Cindy Siu was raised in Dover, Delaware where she learned first-hand the value of hard work while growing up in the kitchen of her family's Chinese restaurants. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Bucknell University, a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University, and a Doctor of Medicine degree at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College). She graduated from the Christiana Care Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident.
Since 2018, Dr. Siu has provided outpatient primary care services in Milford to individuals of all ages. Her previous work has also involved taking care of newborns delivered at the Bayhealth Sussex Campus Hospital and travelling with the Westside Family Healthcare outreach team on a mobile health unit that provides primary care services to migrant and seasonal agricultural workers in Kent and Sussex Counties during Delaware's growing season. She has particular interests in global health, refugee and immigrant health, primary care for underserved populations, community outreach, and patient advocacy.
Dr. Siu serves on the Delaware Academy of Physicians Board of Directors as the Kent-Sussex Liaison. She is also an active member of the Medical Society of Delaware where she serves on multiple committees including Public Health, Environmental Health, Prison Health Care, School Health, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
